We can only charge cylinders that are within their test dates. This is normally stamped on the bottle in the format of YYYY/MM or on a sticker that shows the test date.
300 bar surface bottles hold their test for 5 years, however any cylinder that is capable of being used underwater for diving purposes only hold a test for 2 years. To avoid any disappointment please check this date before bringing your bottle into the shop.
If you are unsure if your bottle is a surface cylinder it is usually very easy to tell. Surface bottles have a gauge on the valve and so cannot be used for diving.
If your bottle does not have a gauge on the valve then it can be used for diving and must be tested every 2 years.
