BSA R12 CLX Pro Wilderness Edition .177
The latest version of BSA's R12 series, the new BSA R12 CLX Pro Wilderness Edition has been redesigned after BSA have listened to feedback from the gun shops and customers. No longer fitted with the dovetail rail that would only take certain sized scope mounts, the top of the action has been machined with a Picatinny rail and now allows the shooter to easily fit a night vision or thermal scope whilst also stopping any confusion on rail sizes for standard scope rings.
Each new R12 CLX Pro is supplied with 2 x 12 shot magazines, and the CCS (Customer Configurable Shroud) adaptors. All of this is housed in a egg box foam padded hard case, which can be padlocked for security and to prevent youngsters getting access.
BSA have also settled on one length of barrel, all of the CLX Pro's now being fitted with a 15" barrel instead of the shorter 13" barrel. This helps improve the shot count per charge, with BSA quoting up to 400 shots in .177 and up to 440 shots in .22 from a fill pressure of 230bar.
So confident are BSA that this latest version of the R12 will be so reliable, they have also increased the manufacturer's warranty to five years*, giving the initial purchaser the peace of mind that should anything go wrong BSA will repair it at no extra cost (*subject to BSA warranty terms & conditions).
Here at Airgunspares & The Countrystore Gunshop we like to listen to our customers and encourage you to pop in or call us and have a chat to us about suitable scopes and accessories to suit this gun if you purchase it.
