Ideal for those looking to raise their scope mounts up due to magazine or barrel clearance issues, it can also be used on heavy recoiling rifles to prevent scope movement to the mounts moving backwards.
To raise the scope up you will require two blocks (one for each mount) and you then remove the existing scope mounts from the rail, place each riser block on the bottom of the mount, before refitting. Each block comes with an easy fit recoil pin should one be needed and they are secured with two Allen head screws.
To use as a scope mount arrestor block you will only require the one. There are two ways of fitting these blocks depending on the rifle you are fitting them too. To fit the first way, just place the block directly behind the rear mount and then tighten up.
The second way of fitting is ideal for rifles with a recoil pin stop hole in the rail (some may have more than one). Remove your existing mounts and place the arrestor block (with recoil stop pin fitted) over the rear most hole, before refitting the scope mounts with the back mount in touching the front of the arrestor block.
