Maun Humane Bird Dispatcher
Designed to make the dispatch of wounded or sick birds quick and painless, the Humane Bird Dispatcher is ideal for farmers, pickers up, gamekeepers and shooters.
Pocket sized and easy to use, it works by breaking the spinal cord and can be used left or right handed. The jaws will fit pheasants, partridge, bantams, pigeons and other similar sized birds. They are also useful for gamekeepers who wish to dispatch crows and magpies that have been caught in a Larsen trap or crow ladder trap.
To use, you simply place the open jaws around the bird's neck (just below the skull) and squeeze shut. The pressure will break the spinal cord and after 2 or 3 seconds the bird will be quickly euthanized.
