The Webley Senior is one of the most iconic British air pistols ever produced, renowned for its robust build quality and timeless design. Manufactured between 1946 and 1964, early examples such as this are particularly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This pre-owned .22 calibre Webley Senior dates from between 1946 and 1958, identified by the Birmingham 4 stamp on the cylinder. Later models featured a simplified Birmingham marking following the factory move, making this an earlier and more desirable variant.
The pistol remains in original condition and is a fine example of its type. It features matching batch numbers on the end plug and barrel catch, along with an inspection stamp “R” located behind the trigger guard, all of which help confirm its authenticity and originality.
Mechanically, the pistol cocks smoothly and functions as expected. The original grips are in good condition with no visible cracks or splits, preserving both the appearance and integrity of the pistol.
A true piece of British airgun history, this Webley Senior is ideal for collectors, enthusiasts, or anyone looking to own a classic spring-powered air pistol with genuine heritage.
