The fact this Pre-Owned Webley & Scott has no adjustable rear sight and forward extensions to the pistol grips, we can date the production of this gun to sometime between 1946 and 1950 courtesy of Dennis Hillier's book on air pistols. The overall condition is fair, with the bluing being a bit thin from wear and tear, the original stampings have been worn away, showing this was a well used air pistol. The gun cocks and shoots well, and could be restored back to near new condition by the new owner.
