Finished in a black lacquer, this Pre-Owned Webley & Scott Junior Air Pistol has the inspection letter "A" stamped behind the trigger guard and under the left hand grip, the number 12 & 70, which some people believe are date stamps. This can be quite confusing as according to Dennis Hillier's book, the Webley Junior Pistol was only produced in black lacquer for the last year of production in 1973, could this be a case of Webley using up old frames they found before the Junior Mark II started production.
